Korean learning Students awarded course, volunteer service certificates, enjoyed authentic Korean food

GURUGRAM: The students learning the Korean language and culture at the Global Diction Studio had a gala time on the closing day of the month-long Hangeul Summer Camp, scheduled from May 20th to June 18th, 2023. These students were not only awarded course certificates but also certificates for participation in the 50th Anniversary India-Korea Friendship Golf Cup that they attended as volunteers on April 15, 2023. What added to the joy and ecstasy of these students was the sumptuous treat offered by Gung The Palace, a chain of Korean cuisine outlets in India.

Sanjeev K Ahuja, Founder and Editor-in-Chief, Asian Community News (ACN) Network gave away the certificates to the deserving students – Sachdev Yadav, Shweta Sharma, Neyasa Gupta, Yashasvi Saroha, Ashmita Bhatnagar, Yatharth Ahuja, Sushma Verma, Neha, Pratyusha Roy, Nishu Phogat, and others.  The GDS staff Vinita Verma, Mingmar Doma Tamang, Kiran Mandal, and Director Sangeeta Yadav also received vounteer certificate for rendering their services along with other students at the 50th Anniversary India-Korea Friendship Golf Cup that was organised at the Golden Greens Golf Club and Course by ACN Network with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and United Korean Community Association.

The Hangeul Summer Camp was designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience through a series of interactive sessions. Participants will have the chance to delve into the Korean language, history, phonetics, and various cultural aspects. With each day of the camp focusing on a specific theme, the participants deepened their understanding and engaged in exciting hands-on activities.

The camp’s schedule featured diverse sessions, ensuring a well-rounded exploration of Korean culture and language. From learning the basics of the Korean language and its phonetics to discovering the Korean number system and exploring traditional music and short stories, participants were having an enriching and enjoyable experience.

Additionally, the camp touched on modern aspects of Korea, including the Hallyu wave, Korean dramas, and pop culture. Participants even had the opportunity to showcase their knowledge and talents through quizzes and performances. Indo-Korea Day highlights the similarities and differences between India and Korea, while Korean Food Day tantalized taste buds with traditional Korean dishes and taught participants how to make Kimbap.
