Top Korean MNCs, Banks, SMEs joining India-Korea Golf Tournament
70 Years of Korean History in India Golf Tournament: Not only these companies are sponsoring this commemorative golf event, their top management i.e. MDs, CEOs, Presidents, VPs and Directors are also participating on 23rd March.
NEW DELHI: Hyundai Motor, LG Electronics, KIA Car, POSCO International, NH NongHyup Bank, and other well-known Korean companies have come in support of the upcoming “70 Years of Korean History in India Golf Tournament” on 23rd March in Gurugram as sponsors. Being organized together by Asian Community News (ACN) Network and Federation of Korean Associations in India with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea the event would witnessed high-level participation of top-notch executives and decision makers of the Korean companies at Golden Greens Golf Club, Gurugram.
Chang Jae-bok, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to India also would be playing in this grand event. The “70 Years of Korean History in India Golf Tournament” is being organised to celebrate the presence of the Korean community and the remarkable success of Korean corporates in India during the last 70 years.
Some of the participants include LG Electronics, Hyundai, KIA, POSCO International, Hyusung, LS Cables (formerly LG Cables), NongHyup bank, Korean EXIM Bank, SD Biosensors, Mirae Construction LX group, ASIANA Airlines, Focustech, Samkwang, J-World, SK Electronics, SK International, Seragem, Innotion (Hyundai), Deerfos, Taehwa, and many more.
Also the apex Korean institutions such as KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency), the economic wing of the Korean Embassy, Korea International Trade Association (KITA), Korean SMEs and Startup Enterprises (KOSME), Korea SMEs Association (KOSMA), KTO (Korea Tourism Organization), and Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) have come forward to support the golfing event to make it a grand success.

In India it has South Asia headquarter in New Delhi and is headed by managing director Joonhwa BIN.
The Federation of Korean Associations in India recently released the commemorative logo of 70 years of existence of Korean community in India. As is widely known that the current year 2024 marks the completion of presence of Korean nationals in India and the year is all set to witness various events not only to celebrate India-South Korea friendly relations but also success of Korean corporate world in India.
The beautifully designed 70-year logo bears flags of India and the republic of Korea in the numeric 70 embedded to each other amply signifying the affinity and string bonds both the Asian nations enjoy with each other.
Last year during the 50th Anniversary India Korea Friendship Golf Cup, the top management of the Korean companies participating in the event include MD, Presidents, Directors, and CEOs from various companies including POSCO, Hyosung, LG Electronics, Kia Motors, Hyundai, NH NogHyup Bank, KEB Hana Bank, Industrial Bank of Korea, Shinhan Bank, Taehwa, Edison Motors, CJ DARCL, Posco Int, KITA, Elantec, Mobis, Focus Tech, N.H Bank, Innoceon, Kotra, Gung Rest, R.F Tech, Saeragem, Vatech, Miso Study, Deer Force, Inko Travel, SG Autotech, Nexen Tire, J-World, KAL, Dowon, E&Y, Hankook, Hanhwa Solution, Hyundai LNC, Mirae Construction, United Korean Association, Embassy, Yushin, Danbee, Samhwa, LSB, DY Auto, Kor Asso of Chennai, NPIA, Forest Bakery, and AA studio had participated.
