WandoC Introduces Jeollanam-do marine seafood – abalone, seaweed, wakame, and kelp in India

NEW DELHI: In a fabulous event at the well-known K-Friends Convenience Café at Global Foyer, Golf Course Road, Gurugram, WandoC Impax and Jeollanamdo Korea Food Market Place together launched a range of seafood products from the origin of Jeollanam-do in Korea. These products included abalone, seaweed, wakame (sea mustard), and kelp, which are representative specialties of Jeollanam-do
The event was sponsored by Dashimachonbok Fishery Corporation, South Korea in the presnce of its chairman YANG Hee-moon. The Head of South East Of ice of Jeollanamdo Mr. Ha Gwangyun specially flew into India to participate in this event on this occasion from Vietnam.
Present on the occasion were also the representatives of many Japanese and Korean restaurants who have either started serving Jeollanam-do seafood products or are conducting tasting sessions for the same.
In his address, YANG Hee-moon said that Jeollanam-do continues to take steps forward by inheriting the spirit of Great Master Jang Bogo, who lived 1,200 years ago. Jeollanam-do is renowned for its blue seas and rich natural resources, and we are excited to introduce you to seafood that embodies these natural gifts.
