Enjoy Japanese food & Abalone アワビ at Japan-India Maitri Golf Cup 2024 日本インドマイトリゴルフカップ 2024

NEW DELHI/GURUGRAM: The participants at the upcoming Japan-India Maitri Golf Cup 2024 can look forward to enjoying a range of authentic Japanese food varieties including super seafood Abalone also known as Awabi (アワビ) in Japanese language during its Gala Networking Dinner & Award Ceremony at the Golden Green Golf Course in Gurugram on 19^th October (Saturday). The event would also have a variety of Indian and other continental food as well.

The Japanese delicacies including Tori Karage とり唐揚げ (crunchy & crispy fried chicken), Kushi Katsu ⁠串カツ(pork) Ramen  ⁠ラーメン , and Itoyori dai netsuke イトヨリ鯛煮付け (boiled marine fish) would be sponsored and served by NAGOMI Family Dining Restaurant of AJU Group of Japanese hotels.

Much to the ecstasy of the Japanese, Indian and other participants, WandoC IMPEX would sponsor and serve freshly cooked varieties of super seafood Abalone. Abalone is Korea’s super seafood, which is rich in nutrients such as arginine, taurine, alginic acid, fucoidan, and is more responsible for both health and beauty benefits. The company imports abalone, seaweed, wakame (sea mustard), and kelp, which are representative specialties of Jeollanam-do and other regions of South Korea. A whole lot of Japanese, Korean and Chinese restaurants in Delhi NCR and other regions of India have started serving abalone.

Top brass of more than 45 Japanese companies are participating in the Japan-India Maitri Golf Cup 2024 being organized by Asian Community News (ACN). About 70 top management cadres including Managing Directors, Founders, CEOs & CXOs, Presidents, Country Representatives, Sr. VPs, and HoDs, of these companies will play golf, and also attend the Gala Networking Dinner & Award Ceremony the same evening.

The Japanese mouth-watering delicacies would come from the kitchen of well-known Japanese chef Shinnosuke EBINA of AJU Group of Japanese Hotels.  Tori Karage とり唐揚げ is a much-loved one Japanese dish, made by marinating bite-sized pieces of chicken in a savory mix of soy sauce, garlic, and ginger before coating them in potato starch and deep-frying to crispy perfection.

Kushi Katsu ⁠串カツ, which  is made with diced pork rib in 3–4 cm (1.5 in) cubes, skewered with sliced onions or leeks. Battered with fresh egg, flour and thin layer of panko crust, the skewer is deep fried in vegetable oil — cottonseed, soybean, canola or rapeseed oil. Ramen  ⁠ラーメンis a Japanese noodle dish. It consists of Chinese-style wheat noodles served in a broth. Common flavors are soy sauce and miso, with typical toppings including sliced pork, nori, menma, and scallions.

Another Japanese attraction would be Itoyori dai netsuke イトヨリ鯛煮付け.  Itoyori Dai is a common marine fish mainly found in the Pacific coastal waters of Japan. Nitsuke is a Japanese word that means “to boil with spices and add flavor.”

The event is also set to witness representation from South Korea, Taiwan and Uzbekistan to add multinational colour to the event .
