Nakshatra International Art Festival 2024: Global Artists to Shine in India’s Premier Exhibition
Nov 30-Dec 5, 2024: A Confluence of 42 Artists and Photographers from Indian and the world.
NEW DELHI: The Luna Arts’ third edition of the Nakshatra Art Festival 2024 is all set to captivate art lovers with its first-ever international participation. Scheduled as a six-day group art and photography exhibition, it will feature 42 artists and photographers from India and across the globe. The event will take place at Hall 1 and Hall 2 of the All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society (AIFACS), New Delhi, from November 30 to December 5, 2024, with a grand opening planned for November 29 at 5 PM.
This edition, organized by Luna Arts, New Delhi, in collaboration with FUNDACJA SZTUKA W INWESTYCJI Warsaw, Poland, will mark a milestone in Nakshatra’s journey as it transforms into an international art exhibition.
The opening ceremony will be graced by Prof. Biman B. Das, Padma Shri awardee and Chairman of AIFACS, as the Chief Guest. Other eminent guests who will attend include Dr. Bhupesh Chandra Little, Head of the Department of Applied Arts, Jamia Millia Islamia; Shri Ajay Samir, a renowned artist; Shri Roop Chand, Chairman of Roop Chand Institute of Fine Arts & Art Gallery; and Shri Sanjeev K Ahuja, Founder and Editor-in-Chief/CEO of Asian Community News Network.
AIFACS, one of India’s oldest and most prestigious art societies, was founded in 1928 by the British Indian Government to showcase Indian art and artists on a global stage. Located adjacent to the new Parliament of India, AIFACS continues to be a prime venue for significant art events in the country.
One of the highlights of the exhibition will be the 7 Chakras Project; by Polish artists Joanna Zienkiewicz and Janusz Kobeszko. Created exclusively for Nakshatra 2024. This project will explore harmony and balance through intuitive art. It will also represent Joanna’s international debut, as her previous work has been displayed only in Poland.
Another key attraction will be the digital photography collection by eminent UK-based photographer Jamie Fettis, THE RIVER TYNE ( Spring and Summer). This project will showcase the visual effects of reflections on water ripples, offering a vivid portrayal of spring and summer along the River Tyne.
The exhibition will present works in two categories: art (paintings and sculptures) and photography.
Featured artists will include participants from India, Poland, the UK, Hungary, and Nigeria, reflecting a rich tapestry of cultural diversity.

Visitors will have the chance to witness a celebration of creativity spanning themes and
mediums at the AIFACS galleries, located near India’s new Parliament.
