Gurugram's busiest mall-mile MG Road which becomes happening on Sundays wore a deserted look this Sunday, Mar 22, 2020.

GURUGRAM. March 22: Life in Gurugram – the epicenter of bustling corporate activity came to a standstill today on Sunday as the town wore the look of a deserted Ghost Town.

National Highway 48 (Delhi-Gurugram Eway that has a daily traffic of over 200,000 vehicles, looked like this on Sunday.

Sector 29 eateries hub with over 50 restaurants did not have a single visitor this Sunday.

People including the expats community of this 24X7 town remained confined to their homes as all commercial establishments such as malls, eateries, and retail joints were closed following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s nationwide appeal to observe March 22 as Janta Curfew (Public closure) to keep a tab on the spread of coronavirus COVID-19.

There was none to use escalators of foot-over bridge at MG Road

Subway near DLF Epitome in Cybercity hardly has a vehicle.
