The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth (SPIC MACAY), Korea Chapter in collaboration with Indian Swami Vivekananda Culturalal Centre, Indian Embassy in Korea, and Indian Students and Researchers in Korea (ISRK) is organizing its Inaugural Event on February 7.
SPIC MACAY is a non-political, nationwide, voluntary movement founded in 1977 by Dr. Kiran Seth, Professor-Emeritus at IIT-Delhi who was awarded ‘Padma Shri’ for his contribution to the arts in 2009.
Korean native artists Ms. Beena Keum would be performing Odissi dance and Ms. Sukhee Oh would enthrall the audience with her Kathak performance. The artists would also interact with the audience post their performance.
