Tandoor Tina – Indian food with a British accent

Dubai: This fun and perky ‘younger daughter’ restaurant to London’s celebrated Tandoor Chop House, serves signature northern Indian food with an emphasis on flame-oriented cooking, yet amazing with a lively British bend.

The design blends retro-futuristic muses and modest old-style touches to create a stylish, contemporary, and relaxed ambience. The peaceful and arresting bar at the back of the restaurant also bids a more reserved experience. Uniquely designed to create a sense of journey as guests explore different sections of the space, Tandoor Tina is famed for interesting Indian food with a British Accent.

Good examples of recipes with delicious combinations enhanced by spices from their artistic creations are chip butty spiced coleslaw, curry sauce, and the Indian spiced scotch egg.

My vote also goes to a stellar fish dish aka the carefully cooked chargrilled Sea bream which has a flavour that is so unique and distinct and it marries well with the shrimp masala butter. The Saag Aloo Shepherd’s Pie that comes with a stilton gravy is a highlight. The dessert menu is a whirlwind of flavours, as for me, after a delicious meal the pistachio kulfi is a fitting and soothing ending.

There is nothing random on any of Tandoor Tina’s plates, nothing there that serves to simply look pretty; everything is on the plate for a reason. All in all, Tandoor Tina offers an incredible selection of Indian cuisine with a contemporary presentation, served in an ambience that is extraordinarily stylish.
