A Passage Through Time: Panorama Editions Hosts a Spectacular Evening at Purana Qila
From historic fort walls to a vibrant cultural soirée, Panorama Editions Vol. 4 unites art, history, and sustainability in the heart of Delhi.
New Delhi, December 4, 2024 – The historic Purana Qila is transforming into a cultural haven this evening as Panorama Editions Volume 4 unfurls its second chapter, following the successful first part at Gwalior Fort. The event, an exclusive invite-only gathering, celebrating the intersection of art, history, and sustainability within the timeless embrace of Delhi’s ancient fort.
The evening commencing with an open exhibit at Purana Qila, drawing art enthusiasts and history buffs alike to its monumental passageways. Guests arriving at their leisure between 4 and 5 p.m., setting the tone for a relaxed yet immersive experience.
A guided visit to the ongoing excavation site, led by an Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) official, provided attendees with a glimpse into the layers of history unearthed beneath the fort. This was followed by an address by dignitaries including Shombi Sharp, United Nations Resident Coordinator, and Tim Curtis of UNESCO, alongside surprise appearances and live music at the Humayun Darwaza.
Adding a harmonious rhythm to the evening, live music performances is blending seamlessly with conversations over tea and mocktails. By 7 p.m., the event will shiftto the British Council at Janpath, where an exhibit awaits guests. The afterparty will feature music by celebrated DJ Avantika Bakshi, paired with exquisite appetizers and drinks, making for a lively conclusion to the evening.
Hosted by Panorama Editions founder and creative director Sarah Singh, along with co-producer Siddhaant Mohta and advisor Ambassador Monika Mohta, the event is highlighting the importance of preserving cultural heritage while fostering creative dialogue.
