NEW DELHI (INDIA). In a major development in the Japanese hospitality sector in India, AJU Japanese Group of Hotels has emerged in new Avatar with its Founder/Director Prakash Yadav taking full control of the 13-year old Japanese hotel chain with a significant presence in India.
Effective September 2020, Prakash Yadav along with his brother Inder Yadav took reigns of all seven Japanese hotels in Gurgram, Manesar (Both in Haryana), Neemrana (in Rajasthan), Ahmedabad, and Vithalapur (in Gujarat).
Rajesh Yadav who was earlier a part of AJU Group has now separated and runs another set of Japanese hotels in the name of Sunmark Hotels. Both AJU and Sunmark offer hospitality services to Japanese clients in India.
According to Prakash Yadav, AJU Group of hotels has vowed to come up with outstanding hospitality services for Japanese clients, and his hotel-chain was in healthy competition with Sunmark as the target clientele remains common between the two brands.
“Starting September, I along with my brother Inder Yadav have acquired complete control of the AJU Japanese hotel chain as our partner Rajesh Yadav has separated on good terms to run his own hospitality service. I look at it as a positive development as our healthy competition will benefit Japanese clients. We would attempt to deliver better services to continue to win their confidence. And we continue to enjoy cordial relations with Rajesh Yadav,” said Prakash Yadav.
Founded in the year 2007 by Prakash Yadav, the Aju Group has two Japanese hotels in Gurugram, one in Neemrana, and four in Gujarat with an aggregate of 367 rooms in India. The group serves more than 200 Japanese companies.
In its new avatar from September, AJU has embarked upon unleashing new and improvised hospitality services in its hotel facilities and is adding new features every passing day for its clients.
“In our Gurugram-based hotel, in addition to Sona and Onsen bath (Hot spring bath), we have for the first time introduced Mizu Buro, the cold spring bath. And we are the only hospitality company in India that has introduced this Japanese community bath concept and it is very close to the heart of the Japanese expats. This facility is available in very reputed hotels in Japan, and we are the first ones to introduce in India,” Yadav added.
As part of continuous improvement in its services, the AJU Group has revolutionized the Japanese hospitality sector by introducing the up-market electronic bathroom fittings – the ToTo brand, as well as bathtubs in all its rooms. All gadgets in the kitchen also are electronic appliances prevalent in Japan.
Prakash Yadav said, “We have raised the bar of Japanese hospitality service in India and are taking to newer heights. For example, we have a Japanese channel NHK Premium in all our rooms, RO water supply in all the taps in addition to the mineral water for drinking purposes. With all improved services, our Japanese clients are going to be benefitted.”
Other Hotel facilities include dedicated Japanese cuisine restaurants with food being cooked with authentic Japanese herbs and other ingredients by the Japanese chefs, Karaoke room, party hall, banquet hall, swimming pool, fitness gym, weight training equipment, full kitchen, kitchenette, Wi-Fi, washing machine and other gadgets like a dryer.
After acquiring complete control of the ownership and operations of the AJU hotel- chain, Prakash Yadav, has ambitious plans not only to offer unmatched services to Japanese clients but also to go for a major expansion spree.
“We plan to expand from current seven hotel branches to 11 at newer locations in India, and also cross 1000 room mark in next fiscal 2021-22,” said Yadav, who founded the brand in 2007.
