Another famous K-pop group KARD makes India debut on July 12 in New Delhi

New Delhi. Having facilitated debutant tour of India for the famous South Korean K-Pop group VAV, the Korean Cultural Centre India (KCCI), New Delhi has another good news for the ever-increasing K-pop fans in India.

With the support of KCCI – a division of South Korea Embassy in India, an event management company Pink Box Events is organising a K-Pop Concert/Fan meet featuring internationally known K-Pop group KARD.

The event is scheduled for 12th July in New Delhi at Talkatora Indoor Stadium and 14th July in Guwahati at Shilpgram.

Earlier too, the K-Pop group VAV of the “Thrilla Killa” fame, had performed in two cities – New Delhi and north-eastern city Imphal on May 31 and June 2 respectively.

For years, K-pop has been an important mode of cultural exchange and strengthen the ties between India and Korea.

KARD is a co-ed idol group under DSP Media consisting of members BM, Jiwoo, J.Seph and Somin and currently the only active group.

The group gained a huge fan following even before their debut with the ‘K.A.R.D Single Project – Vol I, II & III’ under which hits like ‘Oh na na’, ‘Don’t Recall’ and ‘Rumour’ broke the charts.

Their MV ‘Don’t Recall’ (all versions) has gathered together over 91 Million views. KARD officially debuted with their 1st mini-album ‘Hola Hola in July of 2017. Since then, the group has released 2 more mini-album ‘You and Me’ and ‘Ride on the wind’ and their latest digital single ‘Bomb Bomb’ which was released this March.

The group won ‘Rookie of the Year Award’ at Asia Artist Awards in 2017 and ‘New Wave Award’ the following year. KARD was also the ‘Seoul Global Ambassador’ in 2017. KARD has been doing their Global Tour since 2017 to countries like US, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Japan, UK, Italy, etc.

The upcoming concert will be KARD’s debut performance in India as well as their first visit and interaction with Indian fans.
