Book Launch: ‘Path to Excellence’ launched at World Book Fair 2020

NEW DELHI: At a time when India is looking forward to accelerating its economic growth, the culture of innovation and relevance of research holds an important agenda to significantly improve the quality and outcome of higher education in India, said Prof PB Sharma while launching 2020 edition of his memoirs.

The book titled “Path to Excellence” was launched on Saturday at the New Delhi World Book Fair 2020 being held at Pragati Maidan on January 5-13.

In his memoirs, Prof Sharma has shared the success stories of innovations and creative research at IIT Delhi, Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi Technological University (DTU), RGTU and Amity University Gurugram.

The book inspires the current and future generations of young innovators to nurture team skills for interdisciplinary research and innovations to strengthen the nation’s economy and start-ups and motivate them for achieving global eminence says, Prof Sharma.

A former professor of IIT Delhi Prof PB Sharma is an eminent academician and has been the founder Vice-Chancellor of

 DTU and RGTU. He is the past President of AIU and currently Vice-Chancellor of  Amity University Gurugram.

The book is highly inspiring and motivational to young minds. It provides a great insight into innovations and pursuit of excellence and prepares us to integrate education with values, said the Himalayan Poet Yuyutsu RD Sharma while speaking on the occasion.

The book launch was attended by a large audience from academia and the literary community.
