Exhibitors from Japan, Hong Kong, China, Austria, and India to create a buzz in Textile Fairs India 2019
New Delhi. Starting July 15, the Textile Fairs India 2019 (TFI) is organizing a 3-day triple show which will showcase their latest developments in Fibers, Yarns, Apparel Fabrics, Trims & Embellishments and Garments at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
It will have 265 exhibitors from India, Austria, China, Hong Kong, and Japan; trend forums, fashion show competition with TFI Fashion Design Awards and Innovative product awards.
TFI will bring the entire supply chain partners from fibre to fashion at the triple shows – YARNEX, F&A Show and Fashion Connect.
TFI by integrating the textile value chain and bridging critical gaps in the textile supply chain aims at providing a professional environment for manufacturers and buyers to network and transact business.
Under the triple show, the exhibition has 3 unique platforms TFI Trend Forum, TFI Fashion Design Awards, and Innovative Product Awards.
The TFI Trend Forum will provide a view of emerging and upcoming trends in fashion – colors, prints, fabrics, accessories and lifestyle trends. This will give an overview of fashion information for Spring Summer 2020 & Autumn Winter 2020, key directions and Macro themes to conceptualize and design collections for the upcoming seasons. It will also have a collection of best and most innovative fibre, yarn, fabrics and accessories from the exhibitors.
The forum will also focus on “Sustainable Fashion” through a talk on sustainability in the fashion industry by an industry expert. A showcase of the collections of products that are sustainable (Recycled/upcycled/Circular fashion) will be presented at the forum.
For the very first time, TFI is coming up with “TFI FASHION DESIGN AWARDS”. This will have a fashion design competition organized by TFI in association with fashion guru Prasad Bidapa which will bring an unprecedented opportunity for upcoming and talented designers to showcase talent. Out of 98 applicants, selected 14 finalists will showcase their collections at a grand finale fashion show featuring India’s top models.
TFI will host awards for recognizing and encouraging exhibitors to display the most innovative & creative fabrics & accessories at the fair. An esteemed panel of professionals from the industry will be the jury for these awards.
Visitors to TFI represent a diverse category including international buying houses and buying agents, garment manufacturers & exporters; apparel brands, importers, fashion designers, fashion labels, composite mills, power loom weavers, knitters, distributors, and wholesalers, & trade body representatives.
