FII Haryana meets Divisional Commissioner, flags industry concerns
Assuring of reprieve, the Divisional Commissioner offered the FII delegation to hold discussions with them every three months.
NEW DELHI: The Federation of India Industry – Haryana Chapter representatives met Rajiv Ranjan, Divisional Commissioner, Gurugram on Saturday, and raised various issues the industrialists in the state have been facing for a long time.
The FII delegation led by FII Director General G. Deepak Jain along with Harbhajan Singh, President of FII Haryana Chapter, and other office-bearers organized the welcome meeting with the Divisional Commissioner at Swarna Jayanti Guest House.
Deepak Jain presented detailed information about the activities of FII and informed about the operation of FII branches in the country and abroad.
While welcoming Rajiv Ranjan, Harbhajan Singh hoped that his appointment would bring new energy into the system and improve the industry’s synergy with the government.
Detailed information about industry problems in Gurugram was given by Deepak Maini, General Secretary, FII Haryana Chapter. The problems faced in the industry due to the peasant movement and increasing costs were discussed. The process of checking masks by forcibly entering companies by the police and MCG officers, also made them aware of the problems and problems of invoices.
The problem of imposing arbitrary fare by truckers associations and misbehaving with drivers and company management was shared. The problem of non-representation of industrial institutions in MCG and the functioning of MCG in the industrial sector was also kept.
In many areas of the city, there was a discussion on problems and deteriorating environment due to illegal use of government empty plots as garbage and garbage piles.
Three years ago, on the issue of extension of Metro from Huda City Center to Udyog Vihar, it was requested to take action soon. There was also discussion on beautification of the city and development of garbage system on the model of Indore city.
Commissioner Rajiv Ranjan assured to take appropriate steps on all issues seriously. He also agreed to look at the Indore modal by forming a task force and asked to take immediate action on the empty government plots which are being illegally piled up.
Ranjan exhorted the industry to adopt social sensitivity and take up the industry with everyone. He offered to hold discussions with the industrial organization every three months.
