Foreign Delegates, Social and Political Leaders Pay Tributes as Union Minister Bhupender Yadav’s Father Passes Away at 90

A Korean-Japanese delegation visits Yadav’s ancestral village in Gurugram; PM Modi, top dignitaries offer heartfelt condolences on the demise of Shri Kadam Singh.

GURUGRAM, India – A high-profile delegation comprising Korean and Japanese dignitaries visited the ancestral home of Union Minister Bhupender Yadav in Jamalpur village, Gurugram, on Saturday to offer condolences on the passing of his father, Shri Kadam Singh, who died at the age of 90 on March 15.

Led by Euy Don Park, Chairman of the Federation of Korean Associations in India, which represents 17,000 Korean natives across nine regional Korean Associations, the delegation included Yoshihiro Hiramoto, Director of a Japanese company; Prakash Yadav, Founder and CMD of AJU Group of Japanese Hotels; Ms. Ayaka Shibata, General Manager of AJU Ryokan Hotel; and Sanjeev K. Ahuja, Editor-in-Chief and CEO of the Asian Community News (ACN) Network.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Mr. Park extended his heartfelt sympathies, saying, “The Almighty will give the aggrieved family the courage to withstand this irreparable loss of losing the head of the family.” BJP leader Inder Yadav, a renowned social and political activist from the Mundavar assembly constituency in Rajasthan, coordinated the visit.

A stream of dignitaries and eminent personalities from the political and diplomatic spheres continued to arrive at the Jamalpur residence to pay their respects. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who reached out to the bereaved family in an official message, was among the top leaders who offered condolences.

“The loss of a father is one of the most painful moments of life. I can understand your pain in such difficult moments. It is difficult to mention in words the void his demise has left in your life,” said the Prime Minister. “Shri Kadam Singh’s values are visible in your personality and behaviour. He may not be present in the world today, but his teachings will continue to guide his family.”

Shri Kadam Singh’s cremation took place at his ancestral village in Jamalpur. Numerous well-wishers, supporters, and party workers gathered to bid a final farewell, reflecting on the life and legacy of a man remembered for his strong values and the enduring impact he had on those around him.

Bhupender Yadav is a prominent Indian politician and an influential figure within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Currently serving as a Union Minister for Environment, Forests, and Climate Change in the Government of India, he has held key portfolios and responsibilities, reflecting his stature and trust within the party and the central administration. Born and brought up in Haryana, Bhupender Yadav has long been associated with both grassroots-level engagement and national policy-making.

Over the years, Yadav has gained a reputation for his organizational abilities and his commitment to public welfare. As a Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) representing Rajasthan, he has been actively involved in legislative debates, policy formulation, and social development initiatives. Within the BJP, he has served in various capacities, including as a National General Secretary, showcasing his aptitude for leadership and strategic planning.
