GURUGRAM: Foreign languages training academy Global Diction Studio – a Gurugram-based women-entrepreneurial venture has completed five years of successful operations.
Founded and promoted by Sangeeta Yadav – an authority on Korean and Mandarin languages, the Global Diction Studio (GDS) staff organised a cake-cutting ceremony at the Club V, Tatvam Villas on Sunday amidst the participation of corporate honchos and foreign languages enthusiasts as well as many linguists and faculty.
Global Diction Studio, the erstwhile BLB Academy has tread through the thinks and thins of the Covid-19 pandemic-induced slowdown years, and other occupational challenges, and has completed five years of its operations.
Offering training to individuals, institutions, business schools, and corporate employees as well as their top-rung officers such as CEOs, COOs, CTOs, and others, the GDS has so far churned out close to 2900 trainees in ten foreign languages including Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, French, and other languages, and has offered 56 courses so far.
“The foundation stone of BLB Academy was laid on July 14, 2017, and since then we have witnessed a plethora of hurdles and roadblocks including the two pandemic-struck years. Our team including Nikita, Kiran, and others worked hard relentlessly day and night to sail it through the troubled times and taste the success,” said Sangeeta Yadav, Founder & Director, Global Diction Studio.
GDS’s academic collaboration at IIFT and IILM are some benchmarks where it created customized content for experienced professionals at IIFT and more basic contenr the beginners who wish to move forward in their professions.
Sanjeev K Ahuja, Editor-in-Chief, Asian Community News Network who was invited as the chief guest of the celebration event, said that the GDS was doing commendable work of offering foreign language training especially the Asian languages such as Japanese, Korean and Mandarin.
Ahuja said, “It’s really commendable that GDS rolled out an Integrated Beginner’s Korean Program (IBKP) designed especially for Korean language learners based on TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) syllabus at very affordable price of Rs. 999 a month.”
The IBKP follows the WIRRLS methodology which primarily means learning based on Writing, Integration, Role-play, Reading, Listening, and Speaking. The most exciting part of this program is the Hanja classes.

Global Diction Studio faculty including Shubham Jindal, Spanish Language Teacher; Kiran Mandal, Korean Language Trainer, Sunil Kumar, Japanese language Expert, Vijay Singh, Japanese Language Trainer, and Nikita Yadav, Korean Language Trainer were also present on the occasion.
Nikita Yadav made a presentation on the journey of the Global Diction Studio from day one in July 2017, and narrated how the founder Sangeeta Yadav struggled to sail the GDS through the troubled water.
An instructor in language art since 2005, Sangeeta Yadav is decorated with three masters degrees where she has majored in Language, Literature, Political Science, and Philosophy.
Having spent several years in the native land of Taiwan and South Korea, she understands not just the language but the people and the culture attached to it. An author of six research papers, Sangeeta is known for her bold ideas and her fearless execution of the same and also loves teaching.
She has also been a Taiwanese government scholar and a winner of the Korean foundation scholarship to pursue her Ph.D. in South Korea but what sets her apart from the rest of the world is her unconditional love for the languages she pursues.
