New Delhi: Now get ready to try Japanese Tofu in Indian avatar and enjoy Tofu Tikka, Tofu Keema Curry, Tofu sandwiches and many more delicacies in India as Invigorate Foods, a Japanese company in the field of fresh soya milk products has launched ‘Genki-Ya Tofu’ in India.
Genki-Ya Tofu’ is prepared from fresh soya milk extracts for the first time in India, the claimed the promoters adding that the Tofu produced by Invigorate Foods will have authentic taste and texture in the products since the company has imported well-developed and highly equipped machinery from Mase Tofu Machine, Japan, world’s best Tofu manufacturing machine supplier.
Invigorate Foods is planning to invest INR 600 million in the next three years in plant, equipment and other capital goods required for manufacturing soya milk products in India.
The company also plans to launch other soya milk products such as (Genki-ya Silken Tofu, Genki-ya Firm Tofu, Genki-ya Extra-Firm Tofu), Fresh Soy Milk, Flavoured Soy milk, yogurts, and donuts. The products will be manufactured keeping in mind the highest quality international standards.

During the launch, Chie Annaka, a renowned Japanese author and dietician talked about various benefits of Tofu food.
She said, “Tofu has various health benefits and is a better option as compared to cheese. Tofu helps to lower bad cholesterol and enhance the quality of skin and hair. Tofu has a very low-calorie count which also makes it an ideal option for people who want to lose weight. It has also been said that Tofu is beneficial in reducing the risk of different types of cancer.”
Naveen Sundriyal, Managing Director, Invigorate Foods, said, “Our company plans to launch a number of products in India at a time when vegan food is being adopted by a lot of diet-conscious Indians. Fresh soya milk can not only be consumed in the form of Tofu but we plan to introduce other soya milk products and Tofu as a part of our launch of different product categories in India. We plan to reach out to all India distribution by the end of next year and look at providing employment to more than 1,000 people in the near future.”
