Japan Chamber moves to new location, acquires bigger office space in New Delhi
NEW DELHI: Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in India (JCCII), Japan’s industry organization representing 460 Japanese companies located in Delhi and NCR region has moved its office to a new location within New Delhi.
The JCCII office has shifted to a prime address in Green Park from its earlier location in Connaught Place and has acquired a bigger space there.
Kenji Sugino, Secretary-General said that though the JCCII had left the Connaught Place office in June this year and had shifted the office paraphernalia to the new location in Green Park, however, the staff was yet to attend the office in person because of the social distancing norms issued by the Indian government due to Coronavirus pandemic.
The JCCII office has always been active even during the lockdown period also as staffers continued to operate from their home locations and used online mode of working.
“Though I sometimes go to the new office for holding selective meetings with the guests but it is very occasional only,” he said.
The new office housed on the 3rd floor of office building no. R-7B, Green Park also has a meeting space for about 50 attendants besides other modern amenities. However, the landline number of the JCCII office remains the same as +91-11-4358-6321.
“We would now be able to organize our internal meetings for up to the capacity of fifty members at our new JCCII office only when the Coronavirus situation normalizes and the risk of getting infected is gone. This fully furnished office has enough space for such meetings. With this we would be able to plan seminars on various subjects like government rules & regulations and policies, evolving market conditions, developments in Indian industrial scene as well as on Indian culture also,” said Kenji Sugino.
The JCCII’s new office is also very close to the Green Park metro station allowing the staffers as well as the visitors easy and fast access to it from any location in Delhi. In addition, the new office is at 50 minutes distance from Gurgaon where half of the JCCII members stay.
