Japanese Ishimaru Noodles all set to debut in India

MUMBAI/TOKYO: Japan’s top noodle manufacturer Ishimaru is all set to launch their first ‘Made in Japan for India’ vegetarian dry noodles range in India. Ishimaru has the largest market share of the dry udon noodles category sold in Japan and has been operating for nearly 120 years since 1904.

The products being launched initially are the 2 popular dried noodle varieties – Udon Noodles and Ramen Noodles. Ishimaru Sanuki Udon and Sanuki Ramen have been manufactured in Japan exclusively for the India market and are made with the highest grade 100% Japanese wheat.

These noodles are 100% vegetarian and contain no preservatives. Developed and marketed by experts in India, Singapore, and Japan, Ishimaru noodles which are “Made in Japan for India”
are recommended by Japanese Cuisine Goodwill Ambassador in India – Harry Hakuei Kosato.

Ishimaru products are imported by leading e-commerce distributor, Hybrid Designs Private Limited and were recently introduced to the Ambassador of Japan to India, His Excellency Mr. Hiroshi Suzuki and Miss World Japan 2022 Ms. Kana Yamaguchi, at the Embassy of Japan, New Delhi.

Japan’s largest soy sauce manufacturer, Kikkoman’s subsidiary in India – Kikkoman India is also supporting these Ishimaru products by including a recipe that recommends cooking Ishimaru Sanuki Udon noodles and Sanuki Ramen noodles with Kikkoman Soy Sauce, on the packaging itself.
