Over hundred children aged between six and ten participated in the International Children Art Festival held at Thousand Shades Butterfly Park in Gurugram, India on March 2.
Organized jointly by Korean Association in India and Missy India group – group of Korean ladies staying in Gurgaon/Delhi, the event witnessed participation of the children as well as their parents in large numbers in spite of drizzle, showers of rain as the enthusiasm of all was not affected and event went on, ending in a total fun day.
The children drew landscapes, rivers, trees, rivers, mountains and butterflies using diverse colours to mark the moment.

Euy Don Park, the President of Korean Community Association in India, Eun Young Jung president of Missy India and Sanjay Kaushik founder of Uthaan NGO gave away prizes to the winning children.
The winners included Seoyeon YUN (KG Gold), Seohyeon JEE (ES Gold), Hajoon SOHN (KG Silver), Mina WATANABE (ES Silver), Seojoon YUN (KG Bronze), Sehyun IM (KG Bronze), Koharu MISHIMA (ES Bronze)
And Haeun SOHN (ES Bronze).
Euy Don Park who also happens to be the advisor to Governor of Gyeongnam Provice, Korea, vice president of KOCHAM in India, member of The Nationbal Unification Advisory Council and vice president Indo-Korea Friendship Society was all praise for the little participants as well as the organizers.

The 18-acre park in Gurugram is frequented by many communities including Koreans and Chinese, individuals as well as corporate citizens.
According to Sanjay Kaushik – the founder of Thousands Shades Butterfly Park, an initiative by his Uthaan NGO, it was for the second time that the people from Korean community came with their children to the park. Earlier too they had come here to adopt plant saplings.
