Except for its Korean Managing Director, all employees including top management and engineers in this Korean SME are Indian natives. With minimal attrition, the majority of the employees have preferred to stick to this company for decades.
NEW DELHI: A Korean company Focustek in Gurugram is unique in many terms. Apart from employing a hundred percent Indian manpower including senior management and engineers, the company is a small corporate family, and it never resorted to salary-cuts of its employees, nor did it stop production in those difficult days of Covid pandemic.

Of these, 12 employees have been working here for more than 15 years, while about 70 percent have opted to stick to the company for more than seven years. A content workforce like this results in improved productivity and successful operations,” said Mr. Park.
He said that during pandemic when the industry was facing acute shortage of manpower resulting in disrupted production cycles and broken supply chain issues, Focustek worked continuously as majority of its workers did go back to their hometown.
