Korean Green Tea Fat Pork, Smoking Ducks in India soon

NEW DELHI: The meat lovers in India may soon enjoy the sumptuous taste of tender, juicy and healthy Green Tea Fat Pork and Smoking Ducks, the way the Koreans produce and eat it.

A Korean company from JeollaNamdo/Jeonnam province that claims to own patented technology of growing pigs and ducks using specialized feed consisting of fermented green tea fat, is looking for partners in India.

It wants to transfer this patented feed composition to India so that Green Tea Fat Pork and Smoking Ducks could be made available locally as importing raw meat entails trade regulation complications.

As claimed by the company ITDA, this feed not only makes the meat tender, juicy, nutritious and tastier but also free from any kind of diseases as pigs and ducks develop strong immunity power after being fed with fermented green tea fat mixed with the suitable amount for breeding.

“We have patented technology GProk on how to grow specialized pigs and finally produce quality pork meat. We feed the pigs with green tea fat to get good results like nutritious facts as well as tenderness, juiciness and chewy taste. The special feed also gives immunity power to pigs and prevent them from catching any diseases,” said Jinhan Cho, CEO, ITDA Inc.

The company also feeds the ducks with green tea fat mixed fodder for similar reasons.

The company was part of the Korean business delegation that came to India recently from JeollaNamdo province, the largest coastal region of the country. JeollaNamdo located about 350 km from Seoul, is also known for the high quality of eco-friendly agricultural, fishery, and livestock products.

The region also has Korea’s largest certified organic farming, along with 90% of the nation’s seaweed production. Korean Trade-Investment Agency (KOTRA) India had invited the delegation to interact with the Indian businessmen in New Delhi and Chennai.

According to Jinhan Cho, the company was ready to transfer the technology GProk free of cost to the Indian partner so that quality meat could be produced in India.

“As a result of uniform quality control by feeding green tea feed, it has less fat and chewy taste as green tea ingredients, removes harmful substances harmful to the human body, and improves pork by catechin and paraboloid ingredients,” he added.

The company is exporting green meat to Japan, Russia, Australia, Canada, and Qatar as well.

One more Korean company from the same province producing Korean snack food like lotus roots and fresh strawberry Gomamigee too was part of the JeollaNamdo Trade Delegation.

 

The delegation led by Ho Park, Ambassador, International Relationship consisted of Jun Sung Kim of Exports Support Team and Jeong Suk-Lee, CEO, SFCas we other executives from Marine Techno Inc, YG Cosmetic, Korea Standard, Kyung Hyang Cell and Low Carbon.

Other products the companies brought to India for introduction included facial masks, smart reagent kit/autostainer,  chemicals, piping solutions, and other products related to industrial desulfurization.

According to KOTRA officials, JeollaNamdo Trade Delegation witnessed a successful closure as the companies entered into eight MoUs with the Indian partners.
