KOSMA Golf Invitational Set to Strengthen Ties Among Korean Businesses in India

New Delhi: The Korean Small & Medium Enterprises Association in India (KOSMA) will host the 2025 KOSMA Golf Invitational event on April 5, 2025 (Saturday), in Gurugram. The event aims to deepen collaboration between Korean companies operating in India, the Embassy, and various public sectors.

According to KOSMA, this special invitational serves as a meaningful platform for corporate representatives and public sector officials to connect, network, and explore practical strategies for business cooperation.

By bringing key stakeholders together in an informal yet focused setting, organizers hope to encourage dialogue and foster synergy that will benefit India’s broader Korean business community.

The golf tournament will be followed by Dinner & Networking at 5:30 PM, featuring an awards ceremony and a prize draw. KOSMA members, Korean businesses operating in India, and officials from relevant institutions and organizations are all invited to participate.

KOSMA officials emphasize that this event is a milestone opportunity for participants to strengthen professional ties and discuss ways to drive mutual growth in India’s dynamic market. Through shared experiences on the golf course and the ensuing networking session, attendees are expected to gain fresh insights and form valuable connections that could shape future business endeavours.

The Korean Small & Medium Enterprises Association (KOSMA) is a pivotal organization dedicated to supporting the entry, survival, and success of Korean small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in India.

The association is led by Seong-Heum Park, the Managing Director of Focustek Manufacturing Service Private Limited, who was re-elected as its fourth chairman in December 2023, emphasizing KOSMA’s commitment to supporting Korean SMEs in India and enhancing bilateral cooperation.

These companies contribute to KOSMA’s mission of fostering collaboration between South Korea and India in the SME sector.

Established to foster collaboration between Korean businesses and the Indian market, KOSMA works closely with the Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME), India’s national MSME body. Since signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in 2019, KOSMA and FISME have been committed to boosting investment and facilitating smooth operations for Korean SMEs in India.

KOSMA actively organizes seminars, such as the “2023 Management Strategy Seminar & Meeting,” to guide Korean SMEs on navigating challenges in the Indian market. These events provide insights into economic outlooks, investment opportunities, support policies, and risk management strategies.
