KRAFTON, South Korea’s Gaming Giant of PUBG fame, Contributes Rs 1.5 Crore towards COVID Relief in India
New Delhi: Standing in solidarity with India during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it’s not only the Republic of Korea (ROK) Government that has offered to extend its help to India with medical supplies such as oxygen concentrators, COVID-19 diagnostic kits, and other aid items, the Korean corporate world also has come forward on this front.
KRAFTON, the South Korean collective of independent game development teams, has announced a contribution of Rs 1.5 Crores towards the India PM CARES Fund via its Indian subsidiary.
Commenting on the donation, Changhan (CH) Kim, Chief Executive Officer, KRAFTON, Inc. said, “India is navigating a challenging time with the current wave of COVID-19. We remain committed to supporting the efforts of the Government in battling this unprecedented crisis. We hope our contribution to the PM CARES Fund will help the aid efforts currently operational on the ground.”
A company press release read, “With this contribution, KRAFTON wishes to join hands with the Government of India in its fight against COVID-19 and provide necessary medical aid, purchase oxygen supplies and extend additional resources to people across the country in this hour of need.”
