The Indo-Japan Business Council (IJBC) will host first panel discussion on the topic “Translation, Interpretation- Career, opportunities, challenges” on March 5, 2022, as part of the commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of India-Japan diplomatic relations.
“In these globally advanced days, learning any language and becoming a translator/Interpreter is easier. However, people still face difficulties in selecting it as a career option. Although interpreters and translators have similarities, interpreting and translation involve different skill sets that they find challenging. Sometimes even from the client-side, it gets difficult to explain everything,” said Siddharth Deshmukh, President, IJBC.
To find a solution to our doubts, one can always take help from the Internet and read plenty of material available there, but what if one gets a chance to talk with and get guidance from experts?
Deshmukh said, “So here we are with our first panel discussion, ‘Translation, Interpretation – Career, Opportunities, and Challenges,’ which will give you the right direction and help you find your solution.
Learning any language and becoming a translator/interpreter is easy in today’s technologically advanced world. People, however, continue to have difficulty choosing it as a career path. So here we are with our first panel discussion, “Translation, Interpretation – Career, Opportunities, and Challenges,” which will point you in the proper way and assist you in locating a solution.”
