More than a dozen Korean, Indian companies conduct interviews at Korea-India Job Fair
NEW DELHI: More than a dozen Korean and Indian companies converged at the India Korea SMEs and Startups Center on Wednesday in Cybercity to conduct interviews for the Korean candidates in the 2019 Korea-India Job Fair.
Eleven of the participating companies were of South Korea origin while two others belonged to India.
These companies included Samsung SDS, Gungho Exim and Restaurant, Cactus Communications India, Century Global, Heehoon Design, Komos Automotive India, Vely Monkeys, SAMHWA, AWORKS Design, INT Technics India, NRM International, Kama India, and Hera Hospitality.
NRM International and Cactus Communications India were the Indian companies looking for Korean candidates to expand their reach to the Korean clients in India.
Embassy of the Republic of Korea in India and Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME) jointly organized the ‘2019 Korea-India Job Fair’ to offer job opportunities to the Korean youths who want to work with Korean companies based in India.
According to the organizers, the Korean candidates who applied for the interviews included the ones who were either already working with other companies or those who were pursuing post-graduate studies in India.
The participating companies came from varied business backgrounds such as trading of various goods and services. Some of them dealt with automotive products, while others in beauty and cosmetics.
Some of them were popular names like Samsung SDS (Samsung Data systems) and Gungho that owns a chain of Korean restaurants ‘Gung The Palace’ in Delhi and NCR towns.
Century Global that is originally incorporated with the Registry of Companies and Businesses (ROCB) in Singapore, deals with general wholesales trading in Singapore as well as the imports and exports of foodstuffs, fruits and vegetables, marketing and brand development/building, etc.
The Indian companies like NRM International deal with real estate and interior designing while Cactus Communication is into scientific communications and makes available the research available to the community around the world.
According to a representative of INT Technics India Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Korean company and vendors for Samsung in Noida, the company was looking for a Korean employee for its sales department. The company received applications from 10 Korean candidates.
