Namaste Japan Fest 2020: Manisha Saxena, Secretary, ACL, Delhi Government to inaugurate event

NEW DELHI: Ms. Manisha Saxena, Secretary, Art, Cultural and Language, Delhi Government will be inaugurating the 2nd Edition of Namaste Japan Fest 2020 being organized at the Garden of Five Senses in Saket, New Delhi on February 9.

Kenji Sugino, Secretary-General, Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in India (JCCII) will be present on the occasion as a Special Guest. Kenji Sugino, a former Director (Sales and Marketing with Japan’s biggest state-run airline service All Nippon Airways  (ANA), come from the Fukuoka region of Japan.

Ms. Kamori Yukiko, Director Fukuoka International Exchange Foundation; Kousuke Noguchi, Director, Japan Foundation and Yuji Ueno, Director, Japan National Tourism Organisation (JNTO) will also be present on the occasion as guests.

According to Dharmendra Kumar, Chairman, Namaste Japan Fest Executive Committee that is organizing the Namaste Japan Fest 2020, the event would take off on February 9  with the  Opening Speech by Ms. Manisha Saxena. The event would present the world of Japan converging with a variety of rich Japanese culture, artistic forms, food, and heritage.

JCCCII’s Secretary-General Kenji Sugino has consented to be the Special Guest on the occasion when Sanjeev K Ahuja, Editor, Asian Community News (ACN) Network, the Media Partner for the event met him on Monday and extended the invitation letter on behalf of Namaste Japan Fest Executive Committee.

“I enjoy a special bond with Fukuoka prefecture as my parents belong to this place and I too lived there for many years. I would certainly come to the  Namaste Japan Fest and enjoy the moment,” said Sugino san.

The co-organizers and supporters of the event include the Government of NCT and Delhi Tourism & Transport Development Corporation. Fukuoka Prefecture, Ochamura Ltd. Japan Foundation and the Japan National Tourism Organisation (JNTO), Fukuoka International Student Support Center (FISSC), International Animation College,  Fukuoka Foreign Language College (FFLC).

Namaste Japan Fest Executive Committee has also been organizing the Namaste Fukuoka event in Fukuoka from the last four years.
