Namaste Japan Fest team reaches New Delhi, show to begin tomorrow on Saturday
Japanese art & craft, culture, authentic food & beverages are going to be the centre of attraction for visitors looking for ultimate Japanese experience on weekend.
NEW DELHI: The team of Japanese artists and cultural groups led by Fukuoka-based Namaste Japan Fest Executive Committee arrived in New Delhi on Thursday to perform in the 5th Edition of Namaste Japan Fest 2023, which is being organised in Garden of Five Senses in Delhi on Saturday, February 25.
The team includes Naomi Harica Dance Studio Osaka Japan, Haru From Japan ( Dancer and Singer), Naomi Harica Dance Studio Osaka Japan, Haru From Japan (Dancer and Singer), Anime Group India, Naomi Harica Dance Studio Osaka Japan, Hiroko Sarah & Ibex and Onword Free Cultural Experience, AARYAHI PAVITH, Debadhara Odissi, Arti Kumari Group, and Team Sonam.
Kunihiko Kawazu, Minister & Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of Japan DCM will inaugurate the Namaste Japan Fest. Prof. Ashok Chawla, Adviser (Japan), Ministry of External Affairs (India), Koji Sato, Director General, The Japan Foundation ,New Delhi, Masaya Iwai, Centre Head, Fukuoka International Exchange Foundation Director, Sanjeev K Ahuja, Founder and Editor-in-Chief, ACN Network (Media Partner) will also be present on this occasion to address the audience.
Even though, the main objective of this annual fest continues to promote Japanese art and culture in India as well as introduce Indian culture to the participating Japanese artists, the visitors would have an opportunity to plant tree saplings in this popular garden.
The visitors would also experience Japanese culture at various free Cultural Experience Stalls showcasing Kimono, Yukata, Origami, Calligraphy, Green Tea, Rice Ball Making, and much more.
And not to miss out on the authentic Japanese food, the Japan Fest also has a number food stalls by Nagomi Fine Dining Japanese Restaurant, Ebisu Japanese Restaurant, Skycity Hotel & Restaurant, and TB Twist Bell.
The special stalls by Carats & Karats Center & School, Fukuoka International Exchange Foundation, Nihongo Center, Furusawa Japanese Academy, Kanaina Japnese Center, and Anime Group India are added features of this grand event.
