New Delhi to host Epic Thai Masked Dance Drama ‘Hanuman The Mighty Warrior’ on February 7

New Delhi is set to host an extraordinary cultural performance as the Royal Thai Embassy, in collaboration with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), presents the Khon Thai Masked Dance Drama. This grand event will take place at 18:30 hours on February 7, 2025, at Bhim Hall, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar International Centre.
Khon, one of Thailand’s most revered art forms, combines classical dance, lyrical storytelling, and live traditional Thai music. Recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage, it is a spectacle of vibrant costumes, intricate choreography, and profound spiritual expression.
The performance will feature an episode from the Ramakien epic titled Hanuman The Mighty Warrior, a captivating story that celebrates the valor and loyalty of Hanuman, the mighty monkey deity.
