Over 40 Japanese companies participating in Japan-India Maitri Golf Cup 2024 (日本インドマイトリゴルフカップ 2024)

Being organized by Asian Community News (ACN) Network  with the support of the Embassy of Japan (在インド日本大使館 ) and Japan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (インド日本商工会 JCCII), the event is part of the ongoing ‘Japan Month’ celebrations.

NEW DELHI/GURUGRAM: Top brass of more than 40 Japanese large, medium and small companies doing business in varied sectors are participating in the Japan-India Maitri Golf Cup 2024 (日本インドマイトリゴルフカップ 2024) being organized on 19th October in Gurugram. About 70 top management cadres including Managing Directors, Founders, CEOs & CXOs, Presidents, Country Representatives, Sr. VPs, and HoDs, of these companies will play golf, and also attend the Gala Networking Dinner & Award Ceremony the same evening.

Takashi Ariyoshi, Minister & Deputy Chief of Mission and Chargé d’affaires, Embassy of Japan will be also play in the golfing event as well as give away prizes to the winners at the Gala Networking Dinner & Award Ceremony.

The event is also set to witness representation from South Korea, Taiwan and Uzbekistan to add multinational colour to the event.

Apart from diplomats, the Japan-India Maitri Golf Cup 2024 would have participation of bureaucrats from state and central government agencies, corporate & industry leaders, entrepreneurs and decision makers to give impetus to India-Japan bilateral relations.

Being organized by us, the Asian Community News (ACN) Network – a member company of JCCII, this grand event is estimated to be attended by about 200 Japanese and Indian dignitaries

Some of the participating Japanese companies include Mitsubishi, SOJITZ, Canon, Mitsui, TOYOTA TSUSHO, Kawasaki, Sumitomo Corp, NEC Corp, TORAY, Krisumi Corp, Asahi India Glass, NIHON KEIEI, NTT Data Somemiya, Meiden (T&D), Yashima, K Line, Yamato Logistics, Teijin, NIHON KEIEI, DE DIAMOND, Bernese, OAT & IIL, KYODO Yushi Kaneka, Yuasa, EF Polymers, TOYO SHARDA, TAISEI Corn., Nitto Denko, Nissei Plastic, Deutsche Bank, Freudenberg NOK, Persolkelly, Kaneka India, Yuasa Trading, NISSIN ABC LOGISTICS, Kajima India, and others.

Besides Japanese and Indian golfers playing together in mixed-4-ball settings, the evening would witness an excellent fusion of Indo-Japan culture. The Indian and Japanese cultural performances, and food and beverages (Sake & Shochu).

Some of the Japanese companies supporting the event include Nohmi Bosai (India), Kawasaki Robotics, Aica Laminates, MAIN DISH, Meiden (T&D), Yashima & Co., Yamato Logistics, Teijin India, and others.

AJU Group of Japanese Hotels, Bilimoria Mehta & Co., ZEUS Law Associates, PDS International, Jupiter Law Firm, EF Polymer, LANGMA School of Languages, Alveo Dental Clinic, and others are also sponsoring the event in various capacities.

Interestingly, the supporting and sponsoring companies are also constituting special prizes and lucky draws for the attendees of the event.
