Pawan Choudhary, Advisor, Haryana CM joins ACN Editorial Advisory Board, an Asian Think Tank
An offshoot of Asian Community News (ACN) Network, the ACN Editorial Advisory Board brings experts together on a common platform for strengthening the Indo-Asian relationship and bilateral ties through advisory and advocacy roles.
NEW DELHI. Pawan Choudhary, Advisor, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in Foreign Cooperation Department has joined ACN Editorial Advisory Board as a Nominated Honorary Board Member. It’s a Think Tank comprising industry leaders, management gurus, academicians, and intellectuals from South Korea, Japan, and India.
In addition, Mr. Choudhary also holds the charge of Deputy COO, Industries and Commerce Department, Haryana Government since the year 2016. He also worked with Invest India for four years in the Investment Promotion and Facilitation domain.
An Engineering graduate (Civil Engineering) from North Maharashtra University, and a multilingual in English, Hindi, and Japanese, Mr. Choudhary operates from the Haryana Chief Minister’s office in Chandigarh.
With about 15 years of hardcore experience in managing investment projects in India, he, in his present capacity of Advisor to CM, is working with over 50 MNCs looking to invest US$10 billion in India over the next 3 years. He has successfully facilitated some of the biggest FDI announcements from Poland, and Middle East in the last 2 years.
Mr. Chaudhary specializes in negotiating large investment projects and business intelligence gathering with strong working relations with key decision-makers at Central Government Ministries and State Governments in India.
During his 4-year stint with Invest India, Mr. Choudhary managed investment projects and assisted investor companies throughout all phases of investment lifecycle, and performed tasks related to the choice of location for investors, organized site visits and assisted in negotiations with local governments and private enterprises.
Here, he coordinated with key line ministries such as Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Urban Development, Ministry of North East Region, State Governments (Haryana, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Manipur etc.) and Ministry of Railways, and various allied governmental bodies.
He owns deep understanding of the business environment and FDI trends in India and Asia.
His technical expertise includes technical modeling and valuations, business and competitive intelligence, quantitative bench-marking, target operating model design, story writing and copy editing.
