South Korea’s National Day, Week to be celebrated through “Korea-India Dosti Photo-Video Contest

NEW DELHI: The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in New Delhi has announced that this year the Korea Week and Korea’s National Day will be celebrated through a photo and video contest themed as “Korea-India Dosti Photo/Video Contest.”

The prizes the winners would get include Korean Air round trip tickets to Seoul, cash, Samsung smartphones, and cosmetic sets, and individual cash amount ranging between Rs 15,000 and Rs. 60,000, with total prize money amounting to Rs. 10 lakhs.

Those interested can register for the contest between September 1 and 30. The entries in videos and photos would be accepted based on the theme-Korean food, travel, culture, sports, and many more.

Biggest Photo-Video Contest:

​The contest provides a platform for visual storytellers to highlight and promote their creativity, ideas, and understanding of the deep and enduring friendship between Korea and India. The contest aims to identify the best photos and videos depicting Korea-India friendship based on overall beauty, power, originality, photographic and videography skills, and the presentation of the contest theme.

The photos and videos will be judged by a panel of experts and also the online voting system for those who clear the first round and the winners will be given exciting prizes.

• Video length: 35 seconds (minimum) to 180 seconds (maximum)
• Size: Maximum 700 MB
• Mobile phone recording is also acceptable.

Photo Category

• Photos: Minimum 2 and maximum 5 pictures in a series under one theme
• Size: Over 2 MB and less than 20 MB per picture​
