Spark Minda enters into a strategic alliance with Global Japanese Player for manufacturing of Smart Vehicle Access Systems
Delhi/NCR: Minda Corporation Limited, the flagship company of Spark Minda has been awarded a significant order for a leading 2W OEM in India to manufacture Smart Key Systems. According to a press release issued by the company on Monday morning, the awarded products will be manufactured at Spark Minda’s state-of-the-art facility in Pune. The company, however, did not reveal the name of the global Japanese player it entered into a strategic alliance.
The statement read, “The partnership is in phase 1 which is for manufacturing and underlines Spark Minda’s commitment towards enabling unique and customised solutions backed by cutting-edge technology to enhance user experience and comfort.”
With increasing customer expectations for product premiumization, this partnership will strengthen company’s leadership position as a future-ready organization in the area of vehicle access, it stated.
Speaking about this partnership, Aakash Minda, Executive Director said, “This Important partnership and significant order win underlines our commitment towards “Make in India” and become a global leader in the space of vehicle access solutions. We will continue to push the boundaries further to grow our product and technology offerings.”
