The celebrated golfer and 7-time Limca Record holder joins ambassadors, business leaders, and top officials in a historic event promoting peace, prosperity, and progress across Asia.
New Delhi (India): In a remarkable addition to the Asian Unity Golf Cup 2025, the event will host a special guest and celebrity, Ranveer Saini, a trailblazing golfer whose inspiring journey has captured hearts across the globe. Alongside ambassadors, chiefs of missions, business honchos, top bureaucrats, and industry leaders from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and other nations, Ranveer’s presence will underscore the event’s theme of unity, perseverance, and triumph against odds.

Scheduled for February 22, 2025, at the scenic Golden Greens Golf Club in Delhi NCR, the Asian Unity Golf Cup 2025 is a diplomatic golfing event like no other. Under the tagline “Because Asia Matters,” this extraordinary gathering celebrates the shared aspirations of peace, prosperity, and progress among Asian nations. Diplomats, corporate heads, bureaucrats, and industry leaders will compete in a spirited golf tournament, fostering camaraderie and collaboration.
Ranveer, diagnosed with autism at the age of two, has defied all odds to become one of the most celebrated golfers in the world. His journey, which began with early challenges and years of therapy, took a transformative turn when he discovered golf. With unyielding dedication and guidance from his coach, Anitya Chand, Ranveer rose to prominence on the global stage, breaking barriers and rewriting history.

From his historic gold medal at the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles in 2015, this groundbreaking victory was followed by successive wins, including gold medals at the Asia Pacific Golf Masters in Macau in September last, and a silver medal at the Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi in 2019. His historic feat of securing medals at three consecutive World Games—2015, 2019, and 2023—solidifies his position as a trailblazer in the sport.
A seven-time Limca Book of Records holder, he is celebrated for his extraordinary skills, determination, and resilience. His participation in this prestigious tournament adds a touch of inspiration and showcases the limitless potential of dedication and perseverance.

In December, in a proud moment for India and his home state Haryana, Ranveer was conferred with the esteemed Shreshth Divyangjan Award by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, at a glittering ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
The Asian Unity Golf Cup 2025 will also feature a Solidarity Dinner and Award Ceremony in the evening. Guests will enjoy a sumptuous spread of cuisines from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and India. Cultural performances from participating nations will highlight the region’s artistic richness, further strengthening bonds of friendship and mutual respect.
Supported by prominent organizations such as the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in India (JCCII), the Federation of Korean Associations in India, and the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce in India (TCCIN), this event is part of a legacy of diplomatic golfing tournaments hosted by the ACN Network. It builds on the success of past events like the 70th Anniversary of India-Japan Friendship Golf Cup and the Japan-India Maitri Golf Cup.
Ranveer’s participation exemplifies the spirit of the Asian Unity Golf Cup—pushing boundaries, forging connections, and celebrating the extraordinary achievements of individuals and nations.
On February 22, 2025, as the world watches, Ranveer Saini will once again inspire millions by demonstrating that greatness knows no limits.
