Taiwan Expo 2024 Returns to New Delhi with Smart Themes, Innovations
As many as 110 leading Taiwan manufacturers will participate in the expo and showcase their products and services at 160 booths across five themes.
New Delhi, June 1, 2024 – Taiwan Expo 2024 is set to make a significant return to India, taking place at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from July 8 to July 10, 2024. This marks the first in-person expo in New Delhi since 2019.
Organized by the International Trade Administration (TITA), Ministry of Economic Affairs, and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), this year’s expo promises highlights five key industries such as Smart Manufacturing, Smart City, Smart Lifestyle, Wellness Fiesta and Green Innovations, and foster international trade and partnerships between Taiwan and India.
As many as 110 leading Taiwan manufacturers will participate in the expo and showcase their products and services at 160 booths across five themes.
The expo will prominently feature sectors such as agriculture and food, electric vehicles and auto parts, home products, ICT and green products, medical devices, health and personal care, sports and outdoor equipment, and textiles. Special attention will be given to smart city technologies, smart manufacturing, smart lifestyle solutions, wellness initiatives, and green innovations, reflecting Taiwan’s commitment to sustainability and technological advancement.
Attendees can explore dedicated pavilions, including the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion, showcasing award-winning products that exemplify Taiwan’s dedication to quality and innovation. The Smart Cities Pavilion will demonstrate technologies for building sustainable and intelligent urban environments, while the EV Alliance Pavilion will focus on electric mobility solutions and infrastructure. The Healthcare Pavilion will highlight advancements in medical and healthcare services, and the Meet Taiwan Pavilion will promote Taiwan as a premier destination for business and tourism.
In addition to the business and technological showcases, the expo will include cultural performances, offering a glimpse into Taiwan’s rich heritage. Business meetings and industry forums will provide ample opportunities for networking and collaboration, helping to strengthen economic ties and open new avenues for cooperation between Taiwanese and Indian businesses.
The Taiwan Expo 2024 is expected to attract huge number of visitors making it a significant event for professionals, key decision-makers, buyers, and suppliers. The event aims to enhance economic collaboration and showcase Taiwan’s technological and industrial innovations.

The “Taiwan Expo in India 2023,” organized last year by the International Trade Administration (TITA), Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), concluded in Mumbai. It drew 15,000 visitors over the course of three days and generated more than $75 million in potential business opportunities.
Last year TAITRA had recognized Taiwan Expo in India as Taiwan’s flagship promotion event in India as it had strongly indicated the booming business opportunities in India. And given the substantial footfall of visitors and the potential for trade, TAITRA had announced that Taiwan Expo will continue to be held in 2024 and warmly welcomed Taiwanese businesses to participate, enabling them to grasp the commercial potential in the Indian market.
