Take a Journey to Japan as 7th Konnichiwa Japan Festival returns at DLF Avenue Saket
On Dec 2-3, a team of 20 Japanese artists including two Sumo Wrestlers are flying in from Japan to showcase their cultural skills.
NEW DELHI. Brimming with Japanese culture, Konnichiwa Japan Festival, now in its 7th edition, is all geared up to return at the DLF Avenue Saket in New Delhi on December 2nd and 3rd from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. As the Venue Partner, DLF Avenue adds its unique charm to the festival, providing the perfect backdrop for this 2-day Japanese cultural extravaganza.
Organized by World Heritage Academy (WHA) in collaboration with Konnichiwa Japan Club and title sponsor Asahi Japanese Destination Management Company, the festival is set to captivate Indian audiences with a myriad of authentic Japanese delicacies, captivating performances, and engaging talks. Since its inception in 2017, the Konnichiwa Japan Festival has been a beacon of cultural exchange, aiming to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of Japan within the Indian community.
Attendees can anticipate an array of immersive and enthralling experiences, including special appearances by Sumo Wrestlers directly flown in from Japan and a showcase by 20 talented artists displaying their unique skills. Cultural enthusiasts can revel in the Japanese Tea Ceremony, mesmerizing Bonsai displays, the artistry of Japanese Calligraphy, and the colorful world of Japanese Cosplay and Japanese traditional attire Kimono wearing.
Additionally, the Konnichiwa Japan Festival will feature an array of engaging activities for all ages, including a Gaming Zone, Japan Travel Booth, and a Japanese Cocktail Zone from Social Drinks with authentic Japanese beverages including Sake. Culinary enthusiasts are in for a treat with Japanese Food stalls from Asagao, Ebisu Japanese restaurant, AJU Nagomi Family Dining, and Rev Restaurant offering an authentic taste of Japan’s diverse gastronomy.
