Watch: South Korean ambassador, diplomats dance to ‘Naatu Naatu’ song from RRR
Korean Embassy shot a video at its New Delhi premises, and also at Korean Cultural Centre India (KCCI) with the Ambassador, and staffers dancing to Naatu Naatu song. PM Modi also shared this video on his Twitter and praised it.
NEW DELHI: Having spread sensation across the world including in India with its Korean-pop (K-pop) numbers, K-dramas, K-movies, South Korea seems getting influenced by Indian culture as well. It is evident from a video shot recently at the South Korean embassy in New Delhi where the Ambassador and some of other Korean diplomats danced to the Naatu Naatu song.
The Korean Embassy in India shared a dance clip of the Korean Ambassador and staffers grooving to the song Naatu Naatu from the RRR movie on all its social media accounts including Twitter (@RokEmbIndia), Facebook, YouTube etc on February 25 evening at 8.31. Since then more than 3.5 million people have watched it views, and more than 35000 liked it.
The video was shot at New Delhi premises of Korean embassy, and some portions also at the Korean Cultural Centre as well, and the Ambassador, and staffers including Korean and Indians dancing on Naatu Naatu song.
Taking to Twitter, the Korean Embassy in India posted a video clip that shows Korean Ambassador Chang Jae-bok dancing to the song “Naatu Naatu” from the RRR movie along with Korean staff working at the embassy.

In the same post, the embassy further mentioned, “We are happy to share with you the Korean Embassy’s Natu Natu dance cover. See Korean Ambassador Chang Jae-bok with embassy staff natu natu!!”
In the 53-second clip, Korean boys and girls are seen dancing to the song at different locations, performing the same dance steps performed by actors NTR and Ram Charan in the song
Ever since the video surfaced on social media, there has been a flood of comments along with likes and retweets. Users have expressed their reaction on Koreans grooving to typical Indian songs.
PM Modi also could not stop himself from sharing this video on his Twitter. Praising the performance, Modi wrote, “lively and lovely team effort”.
Ambassador Chang Jae-bok said in his response, “Thank you very much Prime Minister Modi. So honored that you enjoyed our Naatu Naatu!”
RRR is a Telugu language epic action drama film releasing in 2022. Directed by SS Rajamouli, who previously made the Baahubali films, RRR is an action drama of epic proportions. Set in 1920, it tells the fictional story of two real-life Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Junior NTR). The film garnered much international acclaim and the song Naatu Naatu created history at the 80th Golden Globes as it became the first Indian song to win the Best Original Song award. Composed by MM Keeravani, and sung by Rahul Sipligunj and Kala Bhairav, it is an energetic song featuring the film’s lead actors Ram Charan and Jr. NTR.
